Manchester United, longing for their glory days in the Premier League, faces uncertainty regarding forward Marcus Rashford’s future at the club.
The Red Devils are reportedly considering alternatives, with Nigerian star Victor Osimhen being the most heavily linked name.
Marcus Rashford, a product of Manchester United’s youth academy, has been with the club since 2005. However, his recent performances have been underwhelming, sparking rumors about his potential departure.
As an alternative to Osimhen, Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyökeres has also been mentioned. However, this transfer appears unlikely as the player is under contract with his current club until 2028.
Osimhen, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray, is also considered unlikely to return to Napoli. The striker thrives in a 3-4-3 system, a formation that Manchester United manager Amorim frequently utilizes.
Additionally, there is speculation that Manchester United is actively searching for a backup forward to strengthen their attacking options.
