Ghana Football Association President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku and Vice-President Mark Addo visited Premier League players Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and Jordan Ayew, who are both recovering from injuries.
The president and vice-president visited the players during a stop in the East Midlands to offer support to the national team stars.
Abdul Fatawu Issahaku suffered a severe knee injury, which has ruled him out for the rest of the season. As a result, he will not be able to participate in Ghana’s FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Jordan Ayew, on the other hand, sustained an injury during the AFCON tournament in a match against Angola. He has recently recovered and is starting to regain his form.
While the players may have been demoralized due to the matches they missed, this visit highlighted the value and support they receive from the Ghana Football Association.
Through this visit, the Football Association demonstrated its concrete support for both active and recovering national team players.
