One of Africa’s strongest teams, Al Ahly, a historic football club from Egypt, is looking to strengthen its attacking lineup.
To achieve this, they are reportedly interested in signing Kelechi Iheanacho, who once played for Manchester City and currently features for Sevilla.
The Nigerian forward has struggled to meet expectations in La Liga. He has only made nine appearances this season and failed to register any goals or assists in those games.
Despite this, Kelechi Iheanacho remains a player with significant market value, and English clubs have reportedly added him to their radar. Additionally, there is said to be interest in the player from Turkey, the USA, and Greece.
Kelechi Iheanacho could serve as an alternative to Percy Tau, who is reportedly on the verge of leaving the team. The Nigerian striker, who has scored 15 goals in 55 appearances for the national team, boasts experience playing for strong clubs.
While his form has dipped due to limited playing time, Al Ahly could be the platform he needs to reignite his career.
