The 16th Africa Eco Race, which started in Monaco and continued through Morocco and Mauritania, came to a close at the shores of Lac Rose in Senegal.
This year’s race saw fierce competition across various categories, and until the final stages, it was unclear who would take the lead. This kept both followers and participants on the edge of their seats, creating great excitement throughout the race.
Drivers experienced technical, physical, and mental exhaustion, but were warmly greeted by enthusiastic crowds upon completion. During the closing ceremony, participants shed tears of joy. The extraordinary performances of the participants were honored.
At the start of the race, there were 89 vehicles, including 78 motorcycles and 11 SSVs. In the end, 69 vehicles completed the race: 60 motorcycles, 4 cars, 3 SSVs, and 2 trucks.
The next edition will be held in 2026, with the finish line set for February 7, 2026.
