Abdelatty reiterated Egypt’s solidarity with Sudan, stressing the importance of protecting Sudan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He also underlined Egypt’s ongoing efforts to support Sudan’s return to the African Union and participate in initiatives aimed at fostering stability within the region.
The discussion also covered water security, with both ministers agreeing on the critical need for continued cooperation to ensure the shared interests of both nations, particularly in managing Nile River resources. Both countries committed to strengthening their collaboration to safeguard mutual benefits derived from their shared water resources.
