The United Nations envoy to Libya, Hanna Tetteh, held discussions with ambassadors from EU member states to review the latest political developments in the country. She also shared insights from her engagements with Libyan stakeholders since assuming office on February 20.
According to a statement from the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) on its X platform page, Tetteh was joined by her deputy, Resident Coordinator, and Humanitarian Coordinator, Aeneas Chuma, for the meeting on Monday.
During the talks, the UN envoy highlighted the ongoing political process in Libya and acknowledged the consistent support of EU member states for UN-led efforts in the country.
