UNESCO and Ghana are forging a partnership to drive AI-powered development in digital education, agribusiness, healthcare, and culture.
They are also aiming to make progress in centralized data system initiatives. The visit by UNESCO to Ghana’s Minister of Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovation, Hon.
Samuel Nartey George, marks the beginning of a promising collaboration between both parties.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss how Ghana can strengthen its efforts in the AI and innovation space. Key topics covered included digital education, digital health access, and the digitization of agribusiness.
Minister Samuel Nartey George encouraged UNESCO’s support in innovating Ghana’s cultural space with AI-based technology to enhance cultural activities and increase revenue.
He also outlined plans to integrate Ghana’s data into a centralized data system.
