The Hub of Africa Fashion Week (HAFW) is set to captivate audiences once again as it returns to Addis Ababa from January 22 to 26. The event promises an exciting blend of creativity and culture, bringing together designers, fashion enthusiasts, and industry professionals from around the globe.
A three-day exhibition at the Hyatt Regency Hotel will kick off the event, showcasing collections from African designers and providing them with an international platform. Panel discussions during the exhibition will tackle key topics such as boosting African textile and clothing exports, using technology to advance fashion, and engaging industry experts in insightful round-table talks.
On January 23 and 24, Millennium Hall will host two days of runway shows, where celebrated designers from across the continent will present their latest collections. These showcases aim to highlight the diversity and ingenuity that define African fashion.
The event will conclude with a two-day pop-up marketplace on January 25 and 26 at the Hyatt Regency. Open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the marketplace will offer attendees the chance to purchase exclusive designs directly from creators, providing a curated shopping experience.
