Tunis is set to welcome delegates from across the continent and beyond for the 8th international conference on “Financing Investment and Trade in Africa” (FITA2025), scheduled for May 6 and 7, 2025. This notable event, organized by the Tunisia-Africa Business Council (TABC), will coincide with the council’s 10th anniversary, marking a decade of promoting business collaboration and economic growth in Africa.
FITA2025 is expected to attract prominent figures from international and pan-African spheres, fostering high-level discussions among industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators. The conference will revolve around the theme “Driving Africa’s Transformation,” highlighting crucial areas such as industrial advancement, digital innovation, energy solutions, and infrastructure development. These discussions aim to identify actionable strategies that can propel economic growth and enhance trade across the continent.
The previous edition, FITA 2024, held on June 11-12, 2024, focused on the opportunities presented by the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) for the automotive supply industry. This year’s conference seeks to build on that momentum, addressing not only the challenges faced by various sectors but also the immense potential that exists within the African market.
Participants can look forward to a rich program that includes keynote speeches, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, all designed to foster collaboration and drive investment in Africa’s burgeoning economy.
