Arsenal is looking to strengthen their attacking line to become more competitive in the league race.
Despite Gabriel Jesus’ recent surge in form and Kai Havertz occasionally being deployed as a striker, head coach Mikel Arteta is keen on adding an out-and-out forward to the squad.
According to reports, this player could be Omar Marmoush. The Egyptian forward has been in excellent form this season and is attracting interest from several clubs, with Frankfurt already in talks with potential suitors.
Marmoush has scored 13 goals and provided 7 assists in just 15 league matches this season. His performance has even been compared to Mohamed Salah’s, as he ranks 2nd in the Bundesliga’s top scorers list and 1st in the assist rankings.
Rumors suggest that Marmoush is not keen on renewing his contract with Frankfurt, which could give Arsenal an edge in securing his signature. However, Liverpool, Chelsea, Newcastle United, and Aston Villa are also reportedly interested in signing the player.
With Bukayo Saka ruled out for the rest of the season, the Egyptian star could be the solution Arsenal needs to fill the void. His arrival could also bolster Arsenal’s chances of securing a Champions League spot.
Marmoush has appeared in 25 games across all competitions this season, contributing to 30 goals with 18 goals and 12 assists.
