Bayern Munich, Manchester City, and AC Milan are among the major clubs showing interest in Nigerian star Raphael Onyedika, who has made a significant move by changing his agency ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 23-year-old is expected to leave Club Brugge at the end of this season.
Given the awareness of both the player’s desire and the growing interest from top clubs, Club Brugge may demand a high transfer fee. Onyedika, who signed with one of Europe’s most prominent sports agencies, CAA Stellar, has made it clear that he intends to move to a bigger club.
Last summer, Galatasaray made an offer for Onyedika, but the club demanded a higher fee for the player. This year, his performance in the Champions League has brought him into the radar of several top teams, including AC Milan, FC Porto, PSG, Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich, and Manchester City.
However, despite the mounting speculation, the Nigerian star has been cautious in making any public comments about his future. He said:
“I don’t know what the future holds. Right now, I am very happy at Club Brugge. I am focused on doing my best and helping the team.”
“At the moment, I am fully committed to the present, and I have no further plans.”
Onyedika played a key role in helping his team win the Belgian league title last season and continues to assist his team in the current title race.
