Emmanuel Dennis has transferred from Nottingham Forest to Blackburn Rovers, who play in the Championship.
The transfer was completed on loan. With this move, Dennis becomes the fourth Super Eagles player to wear the Blackburn Rovers shirt.
Previously, Hope Akpan, Yakubu Aiyegbeni, and Dickson Etuhu had all played for the club.
Blackburn Rovers made two other signings on transfer deadline day alongside Dennis. The club released a statement after Dennis’ arrival, saying:
“Rovers have concluded their transfer deadline day business with the loan signing of Nigeria international Emmanuel Dennis from Nottingham Forest.”
It is expected that Dennis will play as the club’s main striker. After moving from Turkish side İstanbul Başakşehir to Nottingham Forest, Dennis did not secure a regular starting position at Forest.
However, at Blackburn, he has the opportunity to regain his place in the starting eleven and rediscover his form.
