The Ivorian public financial institution Banque Nationale d’Investissement (BNI) and the Ivorian Football Federation (FIF) have partnered to provide co-branded cards aimed at facilitating access to financial services for those involved in the Ivorian football sector.
BNI Deputy General Manager Jérôme Ahua commented on the partnership, stating,
“With these co-branded cards, we aim to offer a practical solution that supports Ivorian football. These cards will enable users to benefit from modern payment services tailored to their needs.”
“This initiative is part of our desire to make financial services more accessible for all actors within the Ivorian football sector.”
Ahua also noted that signing this agreement could be an opportunity to create a connection between the banking and sports sectors.
FIF President Yacine Idriss Diallo expressed his satisfaction with the partnership, saying,
“The Federation uses a significant amount of cash in its operations. In the context of modernizing our activities, BNI is supporting us in implementing a modern payment method that will facilitate access to all financial services.”
Diallo emphasized that this project has come at just the right time.
“We have other projects, such as expanding the Federation’s headquarters. We believe that this project will achieve unprecedented success.”
BNI Digital Banking Director Mohamed Fofana invited all Ivorians to adopt this bank card, stating,
“The unique feature of this card is that it allows all actors in the world of football to access financial services. It will enable FIF to manage all its daily financial flows. This card facilitates all transactions. We invite all of our people to make this card their own.”
