Nigerian national football player and Bundesliga sensation Victor Boniface was involved in a traffic accident in Germany and was hospitalized.
The 23-year-old star striker had managed to score against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday, but subsequently suffered an accident. He survived the crash without serious injury; however, he incurred damages amounting to €167,000.
On Sunday, the player shared a story on Instagram that clearly showed his right hand bleeding at the time of the accident. His vehicle, on the other hand, was in much worse condition, with significant damage to the body.
By captioning the video with “God is the greatest,” he expressed gratitude for surviving the crash. The condition of other victims involved in the collision remains unclear. However, according to a report by Bild, Boniface only sustained two minor injuries to his hand in the accident.
