The CAF Champions League continues with excitement, and after the quarter-final matches, the three teams advancing to the semi-finals will be decided.
The first match of the evening will be between Egypt’s Pyramids FC and Morocco’s AS FAR. Pyramids FC won the first match 4-1 at home, making them the favorites for this round.
The next match will be between the leader of South Africa, Sundowns, and the strong Tunisian team, Esperance. Although Sundowns won the first match 1-0, this score may not be enough for them. Esperance could put up a strong performance and eliminate Sundowns.
The final match of the evening will be between Sudan’s Al-Hilal and Egypt’s Al Ahly. While Al-Hilal has had a fast start to the tournament and has shown top-level performance overall, Al Ahly, often referred to as Africa’s Real Madrid, is considered the favorite for this round. However, Al Ahly only managed a 1-0 victory in the first match. It is possible that Al Ahly could face an upset and be eliminated.
The tournament matches will start at 20:00 local time in Morocco; at 21:00 local time in Sudan, Tunisia, and South Africa; and at 22:00 local time in Egypt.
