Kaizer Chiefs, who have struggled to find their form in the South African Premier League this season, are targeting a major transfer.
The club is reportedly interested in players such as Percy Tau, Thabo Cele, Fiston Mayele, Feisal Salum, and Clement Mzize.
Kaizer Chiefs have made a significant offer of 9.6 million rand for Glody Lilepo, a Democratic Republic of Congo national team player who plays for Valenciennes FC in France’s third division. This could be Chiefs’ first transfer of the January window.
The player’s current club is willing to sell, but despite the attractive offer, Lilepo is not interested in joining the South African league. Therefore, the chances of this transfer happening are quite low.
The good news for Kaizer Chiefs supporters is that the club is not only targeting players for the midfield. The management has indicated that one or two forwards will be added to the team, with big-name players also on the list of potential signings.
Valenciennes FC had acquired Lilepo from Al-Hilal for 478 million euros, and now they are looking to sell the player for a similar amount.
