Ericsson will participate in GITEX Africa 2025 to showcase AI, connectivity technologies, and sustainable solutions that support Africa’s digital future.
Taking place from April 14-16, 2025, in Marrakech, Morocco, the company will be the main sponsor of the event. Industry leaders will present projects with the potential to accelerate the continent’s connectivity and digital transformation.
Visitors will have the opportunity to observe the potential impact of advanced technologies such as network infrastructure, automation, enterprise business solutions, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) across sectors like mobility, telecommunications, and more.
Ericsson will also showcase its technologies that support sustainable growth, including Private Networks, Network APIs, and high-performing programmable networks, which align with Morocco’s Vision 2030.

The event will feature a panel titled “Investment in Critical and Next-Gen Infrastructure,” with Badr Ndour, Head of Networks for Ericsson West & South Africa, highlighting key points.
Additionally, Majda Lahlou Kassi, President of Ericsson Morocco and Vice President and Head of Ericsson West & Southern Africa, will deliver a keynote speech discussing how high-performing programmable networks play a pivotal role in transforming telecom companies into tech companies.
