The legendary Cameroon national team player Samuel Eto’o, considered one of the best forwards of his era and having played for Real Madrid, Inter, and Barcelona, reportedly stayed at the same hotel for five years during his time in Barcelona.
According to Marca, the iconic player, who won three La Liga titles and two Champions League trophies in five years, resided at the Hotel Arts.
This five-star hotel is located very close to some popular nightlife venues. However, Eto’o reportedly did not take advantage of this opportunity and preferred a quieter lifestyle. According to Arus, Eto’o did not go out late at night and lived on a budget of €2,600 a month.
If these rumors are true, the current president of the Cameroon Football Federation, who is currently barred from participating in matches, would have spent a total of €4.75 million over the five years.
