Flutterwave, Africa’s leading payment technology company, has launched a new initiative aimed at strengthening the continent’s tech sector.
The project is designed to empower young Africans with practical skills through a two-day virtual coaching program called the Flutterwave Accelerate Workshop.
The workshop is open to university students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals. Participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with industry experts in key fields such as data privacy and cybersecurity, marketing, product management, and design.
The sessions will be led by accomplished professionals including Ted Oladele (CEO of Mira and former VP at Flutterwave), Nujinim Egwegbete-Odukwu (Head of Infrastructure Security), Noel Ozoemena (Senior Manager of Branding and Storytelling), Oluwatobiloba Animashaun (Product Manager at Flutterwave), and Abisola Epoyun (Data Privacy Manager).
Through this initiative, Flutterwave is creating opportunities and access for young people.
With this project, the company reaffirms its vision that Africa’s greatest asset is its young, dynamic population.
Flutterwave remains committed to driving innovation by investing in talent development programs across the continent.
