South African footballer Thabiso Sesane, who has recently been called up to the national team due to his impressive performances, is attracting interest from European clubs.
The 24-year-old defender, who plays for Orlando Pirates, has been instrumental in his club’s success.
His outstanding performances have helped the Pirates advance from the group stage in the CAF Champions League and maintain their position in the title race in the South African league.
Thanks to his improved game, Sesane has caught the attention of French Ligue 1 side Montpellier. According to a source, a team from the Dutch Eredivisie is also reportedly interested in the young defender, although the name of this club has not yet been revealed.
Currently, Sesane is deeply involved in Orlando Pirates’ quest for trophies, which raises doubts about whether this transfer could happen anytime soon. After his teammate Tapelo Xoki’s injury, Sesane was given more opportunities to play, allowing him to find his form and shine on the field.
Given his consistent performances, Orlando Pirates might be reluctant to let him leave at this stage.
