Director of Criminal Investigations Mohamed Amin reported that, as of Sunday, ten bodies of females aged 18 to 30 had been recovered and stored at the City Mortuary. Initially believed to contain human remains, some bags were later found to contain carcasses of dogs. The motive behind these murders remains unknown.
Six bodies were found on Friday, two on Saturday, and two on Sunday, all at the same dump site but in varying stages of decomposition, yet suffering similar fates.
“The modus operandi was consistent across the cases. The victims were all females aged between 18 and 30,” Amin remarked.
