Henkel, a global leader in consumer and industrial products, has announced plans to bolster its operations in Egypt, positioning the country as a key export hub for products, solutions, and services across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Roland Haefs, Henkel’s Executive Vice President of Global Business Solutions (GBS+), highlighted Egypt’s strategic location and skilled workforce as critical to the company’s regional growth strategy.
Haefs underscored the role of digital transformation in enhancing operational efficiency, leveraging advanced technologies like artificial intelligence to stay competitive.
The company also emphasized its commitment to diversity, with women making up 70% of the workforce in its Cairo GBS+ office, many in leadership positions, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Henkel integrates corporate social responsibility into its strategy, Haefs noted, with its Cairo office contributing over 10,000 volunteer hours in community and environmental initiatives over the past decade.
Aligned with Henkel’s global environmental sustainability goals, the company is focused on optimizing resource use, minimizing waste, and advancing the circular economy within its Egyptian operations.
