During the event, President Kagame attended the official opening ceremony before taking part in a panel discussion co-hosted by the Doha Forum and the Center for China and Globalization. The discussion, titled “China’s Role in a Rising Global South: Redefining the Future World Order,” explored the growing ties between the global south and China and the implications for the evolving international order.
President Kagame was joined by other distinguished panelists, including President Nangolo Mbumba of Namibia, Mia Amor Mottley, the Prime Minister of Barbados, Eduardo Enrique Garcia, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Honduras, and Henry Wang, President of the Center for China and Globalization.
