Air India and Kenya Airways have strengthened their partnership by expanding their codeshare agreement to improve travel connectivity between India and Africa. The new agreement enhances passenger access to multiple destinations through a streamlined ticketing and baggage system.
Under the arrangement, Air India’s flight code will be added to Kenya Airways’ twice-daily Mumbai-Nairobi service, allowing passengers to connect to cities such as Bangkok, Colombo, Dhaka, Malé, Melbourne, and Singapore via Mumbai. Meanwhile, Kenya Airways will place its code on Air India’s Delhi-Nairobi route, providing African travelers with better access to India.
The partnership extends connectivity to 28 African destinations, including Johannesburg, Dar es Salaam, Addis Ababa, Harare, and Victoria Falls, as well as 15 cities in India such as Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Goa. Both airlines have committed to further expanding the agreement to cover additional routes in the future.
Passengers can now book codeshare flights through both airlines’ official platforms and travel agencies, ensuring easier access to the newly integrated network.
