A two-day conference aimed at enhancing Libya’s investment environment commenced today in Benghazi.
Organized by the Benghazi Chamber of Commerce and supported by the Privatisation and Investment Board (PIB), the Faculty of Economics at the University of Benghazi, and the Libyan Accounting Group, the conference gathered several key officials.
Attendees included the Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energies from the eastern region, the Chairman of Emaar Libya Holding Company, the head of the Tax Authority, a representative from the Ministry of Economy and Trade, the Undersecretary of the Benghazi Municipality Office, the PIB Chairman, and numerous university leaders, faculty members, experts, and businesspeople.
Over the two days, the conference will feature 24 researchers and participants from various Libyan cities, with the goal of producing recommendations to develop, modernize, and enhance the investment climate in Libya to boost the national economy.
