The Libyan Export Promotion Centre (LEPC) announced today that Misrata-based Al-Ghazala Paints Company is preparing to ship its second consecutive batch of paints and sealants to Niger, Benin, and Mali.
As a registered member of the LEPC’s Exporters’ Register, Al-Ghazala Paints receives official support for its export activities. Recognized as a leading Libyan manufacturer of paints and sealants, the company has participated in several domestic and international trade events, most recently the October 2024 Moroccan-Libyan Business Forum held in Tangiers, Morocco.
The LEPC highlighted the growing momentum among Libyan companies aiming to penetrate African markets with high-quality products, establishing a reputation that reflects Libya’s potential.
Al-Ghazala Paints stated that this export shipment—over 80 tons of water and oil-based paints and waterproofing materials—is part of its 2024 strategy to tap into Africa’s expanding construction sector. The company noted that the ongoing construction boom across the continent presents a promising opportunity for its internationally certified products.
