The Ghanaian star and West Ham United player Mohammed Kudus has had his suspension extended to five games.
West Ham United suffered a 4-1 defeat to Tottenham in recent weeks, where Kudus scored his team’s only goal. However, near the end of the game, he was shown a red card following a scuffle.
In the final moments, tension escalated on the pitch. Kudus initially received a yellow card for a challenge on Micky van de Ven. Shortly after, he pushed both Micky van de Ven and Pape Matar Sarr in the face.
This action led to a red card, and his suspension has now been extended. The star player initially received a three-game ban, which was set to end this week, but this period has now been extended to five games.
The Ghanaian player will now be unable to play until West Ham’s match against Leicester City on December 3.
This news is a significant setback for West Ham United, which has already had a rough start to the season.
In addition, Kudus has been fined £60,000, while West Ham United has been fined £30,000 for failing to control their players’ behavior.
