Manchester City, one of England‘s most dominant teams in recent years and a club that has secured multiple consecutive championships, has announced the launch of the Ramadan Esports Football Cup.
The tournament will feature participants from four countries, with two representing North Africa (Egypt and Algeria) and two from the Middle East (United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia). Players who excel in the regional qualifiers will advance to the semi-finals on April 4. The winners of the semi-finals will then compete in the grand final.
Each participant will have a five-hour window to play a maximum of ten matches against regional competitors. The four finalists who progress from the qualifiers to the semi-finals will be rewarded with an official Manchester City jersey and will also have the opportunity to meet a Manchester City esports player.
The tournament is open to participants across various platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PC.
