Abdelaziz Barrada, who played as Morocco’s number 10 in recent years, has passed away at the age of 35.
His former clubs, Marseille and Antalyaspor, released condolences for the player who died at 35. The cause of his death has not yet been confirmed by official sources.
Marseille stated, “The club would like to offer its sincerest condolences to his family and share their grief,” while Antalyaspor expressed,
“We have learned with deep sadness that Abdelaziz Barrada, who once played for our club, has passed away. We wish Allah’s mercy upon Abdelaziz Barrada; we extend our condolences to his family, loved ones, and our community.”
Paris Saint-Germain, where he played in the reserve team, also shared, “Paris Saint-Germain extends its sincerest condolences to his family and friends.”
During his career, Barrada played in 227 matches, scoring 40 goals and providing 36 assists. He earned 26 caps for the Moroccan national team, scoring four goals.
