Nigerian star Alex Iwobi delivered an impressive performance against Premier League leaders Liverpool.
He scored a stunning goal and provided a classy assist. His teammate Andreas Pereira praised his incredible display and even compared him to Brazilian legend Ronaldinho.
Fulham, who put in a strong performance against Liverpool, ended the Reds’ 26-match unbeaten run. This important victory also reignited Fulham’s hopes of qualifying for European competitions next season.

Although Liverpool opened the scoring through Alexis Mac Allister, Fulham quickly responded. Ryan Sessegnon equalized with a beautifully taken volley.
Soon after, Alex Iwobi stepped up, capitalized on an error by Andy Robertson, and scored a superb left-footed goal to make it 2-1 in favor of Fulham.
Just a few minutes later, Iwobi turned provider. He delivered a perfect assist to Rodrigo Muniz, who scored Fulham’s third goal. In the second half, Luis Díaz pulled one back for Liverpool, but it wasn’t enough to avoid defeat.
Nigerian Ronaldinho
After the match, Iwobi shared photos on Instagram celebrating with his teammates following his goal. Teammate Pereira commented on the post, calling him the “Nigerian Ronaldinho.”
