The Qatari government has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening ties with Katsina State, Nigeria by focusing on key sectors such as education, health and infrastructure development.
Qatar’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Dr. Ali Bin Ghanem Al-Hajri, made the announcement shortly after the inauguration of the newly named Qatar Street in the state capital by Governor Dikko Umaru Radda.
He stressed that the partnership will facilitate expansion in the areas of health, education and infrastructure, as well as explore opportunities in agriculture, sports, cultural promotion and economic development.
Katsina is the heart of Hausa culture, language and heritage and I am honored to be here. We had productive discussions with the Governor and state leaders on the future of Katsina and look forward to working together in various sectors, Al-Hajri said.
