National Festival 2024 which also features a pavilion honoring the 50th anniversary of the Bologna Festival—this morning at the Expo Compounds in Asmara.
The Festival, which is open until August 18th, features a variety of exhibitions. These include artistic representations of the nation’s historical and cultural heritage, natural resources, agricultural and fisheries products, and manufactured goods from the six Zobas; additionally, there are displays that highlight Eritrea’s potential in the blue economy, which includes tourism, maritime resources, and renewable energy.
Photo displays documenting the history of diaspora (in Europe, the US, and the Middle East) solidarity and support for their homeland from the early 1970s onward are on display in the Bologna Festival’s 50th anniversary pavilion.
