3rd Qatar-Africa Business Forum (QABF) set to take place in Marrakech, Morocco, on November 16-17. The forum, part of the Qatar-Morocco 2024 Year of Culture, will bring together over 300 policymakers, CEOs, entrepreneurs, and innovators from across Africa, Qatar, and globally. The discussions will focus on Africa’s potential as a hub for human capital and innovation, promoting sustainable, equitable partnerships between Qatar and the African continent.
QNB Group has been announced as the ‘Platinum Sponsor’ for the forum. This sponsorship underscores QNB’s ongoing commitment to supporting Qatar’s initiatives for Africa’s economic development, in line with the African Union’s Agenda 2063 and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for 2030.
Heba al-Tamimi, Senior Executive Vice President for Group Communication at QNB, emphasized that this sponsorship aligns with the bank’s mission to leverage Africa’s abundant talent and resources. It also reflects the bank’s growing presence as the largest financial institution in the Middle East and Africa (MEA), further solidifying its commitment to supporting sustainable growth in Africa.
QNB’s support of the QABF aligns with the bank’s broader strategy to foster stronger relationships and economic opportunities between Qatar and Africa, while promoting the critical role of the private sector in achieving development goals.
