Brahim Diaz, the offensive midfielder of the Moroccan national team and the reigning UEFA Champions League champion Real Madrid, will face his former club AC Milan today.
The 25-year-old player is excited to represent Morocco on the world’s biggest stage. Brahim aims to create a lasting legacy with the Moroccan national team.
Although he was not nominated for the CAF awards, the young player expressed his pride in wearing the national team jersey. He conveyed his heartfelt gratitude to the African people who support him.
“I am very proud to wear the Moroccan national team jersey. I am grateful to Morocco and the entire African continent for all the love and warm welcome I have received,” he said.
“Thanks to the love and warm welcome from all the members of the team, I have always had the feeling of being part of this big family,” he added.
Having previously played for the Spanish national team, Brahim Diaz made the decision to choose the Moroccan national team.
The team embraced him, and he seems pleased with this choice. The young player has played six matches for the Moroccan national team and scored two goals.
