The Tunisian Embassy in Lebanon has confirmed the organization of a repatriation flight on October 1, 2024, to evacuate Tunisian nationals affected by the ongoing crisis. Tunisair will provide a special aircraft with a capacity of 260 seats, while the embassy has received 404 booking requests for the flight.
Priority for the flight will be given to students, displaced individuals, Tunisians residing in high-risk areas, those without family support, and those with urgent health needs. The embassy is currently contacting selected passengers with travel details and procedures.
This repatriation effort is part of Tunisia’s broader response to protect its citizens amidst the worsening situation in Lebanon, as the embassy works closely with relevant authorities to consider all requests and provide further assistance.
