Somali National Army (SNA) forces have carried out a decisive operation against Alshabab militants in Ceel Cali Axmed, Middle Shabelle, dealing a significant blow to the group. The offensive led to heavy casualties among the militants as government troops continue efforts to eliminate terrorist threats.
According to military officials, Somali forces are actively tracking down the remaining fighters to prevent further attacks. The latest operation highlights the government’s determination to restore stability and ensure the security of its citizens.
In a separate incident, more than 100 Alshabab fighters were neutralized after attempting to attack several areas in Hirshabelle State, including Ali Foldhere, Ali Axmed, Darunimca, and Alkowser. The coordinated response by national forces, with support from local residents, successfully repelled the assault.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud’s administration remains committed to intensifying military operations against Alshabab, urging citizens to support ongoing security efforts.
