Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud met with Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed on the sidelines of the 38th African Union Summit in Addis Ababa.
During their talk, the leaders addressed various matters of mutual interest. Following the meeting, Prime Minister Ahmed shared on social media that they emphasized the importance of maintaining and strengthening their partnership.
“A renewed partnership requires consistent cultivation,” Abiy Ahmed stated, highlighting the need for ongoing engagement between the two nations.
The 38th Ordinary Session of the African Union Assembly, which brought together heads of state and government, is set to conclude today.
