In Mogadishu, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Federal Government of Somalia has approved 12 diplomats who will represent Somalia in some countries.
The cabinet also approved half a million in compensation for the victims of the explosion that took place on Friday night, 02 August 2024.
The Prime Minister of Somalia donated his entire salary
Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre donated his salary this month to the victims who were injured in the Lido beach explosion and the cabinet also donated 50% of their salaries to the injured.
New ambassadors approved
About 10 ambassadors and two consuls general have been appointed by the Federal Cabinet of Somalia new ambassadors and consuls.
New names have appeared in the list circulated on social media in the office of the Prime Minister of Somalia.
Former minister and members of parliament appear in the appointment. These members are expected to be distributed to India, United States, Tanzania, UN, Pakistan and other countries
