Despite five different bowlers taking one wicket each for Scotland, Kathryn Bryce was the standout performer with 1-31. For Scotland, the top scorer was Katherine Fraser with 14 runs.

Scotland captain Kathryn Bryce stated, “There were missed chances, which proved costly. Then we lost a few wickets early and fell far behind in the game. It’s really tough when you’re not used to being under that kind of pressure.”
Player of the match, South Africa all-rounder Marizanne Kapp, said, “I feel very confident. I’m at my best when I focus on the basics. In the end, it was a good total. We could have aimed for 180 considering where we were after the powerplay, but there’s always something to learn.”
