The results of the AFCON group stage are continuing to be revealed.
In Group C, Tanzania and Guinea faced off to determine who would advance, with the match finishing 1-0 in favor of Tanzania. Guinea failed to score, while Tanzania found the net in the 61st minute through Simon Msuva, securing their place in the next round.
As a result, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Tanzania advanced from the group, while Guinea and Ethiopia were eliminated.
In Group J, the standings were finalized after the matches.
Cameroon took the lead in the 18th minute against Zimbabwe through Vincent Aboubakar. The lead was extended by Georges-Kevin N’Koudou, who scored from outside the box in the 23rd minute. Zimbabwe’s only goal came from Terrence Dzvukamanja.
With this result, Cameroon finished first in the group, while Zimbabwe advanced in second place. In the other match of the group, Kenya and Namibia played to a goalless draw, and both teams were eliminated from the competition.
