Tunisia is preparing to host the AfricArena Tunis Deep Tech and AI Summit on October 15-16. This event will bring together companies and entrepreneurs who provide financial support for Africa’s technological development.
During the summit, Africa’s most notable 20 startups will be presented to over 100 investors, showcasing the continent’s immense potential in a professional manner. One of the summit’s goals is to improve investment processes across the continent.
Key speakers at the event include Abderrahmane Chaoui, CEO of Sendemo; Yassine Oussaifi, partner at AfricInvest Group; Bilel Khlaifia, CTO at Nextav; and Henri Zietsman, senior startup business development manager at Amazon Web Services.
The event will kick off with the VC Unconference, where participants will exchange ideas on enhancing the startup and tech ecosystem in Africa. Following this, the AfricArise Tunis Founders’ Bootcamp will continue the program.
“The Founder’s Deal Flow Bootcamp accelerates founders’ knowledge in crucial areas often overlooked by other incubation programs, equipping them for future investor interactions, networking, and collaborations. Alongside interactive workshops, founders can also connect with peers and founders from across Africa through a series of events and activities during the boot camp,” said AfricArena.
