Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, representing the UAE at the World Without Hunger Conference.
Upon his arrival at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, Ethiopian Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed received Sheikh Khaled. An official reception included the national anthems of both countries, and the leaders reviewed the guard of honor.
The two met briefly in the airport’s VIP lounge, where they acknowledged the UAE-Ethiopia relationship and discussed possibilities for expanded collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
Sheikh Khaled will lead the UAE delegation at the conference, which focuses on advancing technologies and sustainable practices to address global food security challenges.
He is accompanied by a delegation that includes Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State; Reem Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; UAE Ambassador Mohamed Salem Al Rashdi; and Omran Anwar Sharaf Al Hashemi, Assistant Foreign Minister for Advanced Sciences and Technology.
