Samuel Eto’o, who has played for world-class teams like Inter, Chelsea, and Barcelona in the world’s top leagues such as Serie A, Premier League, and La Liga, has been sanctioned for violating two articles of the disciplinary regulations.
On September 11, Cameroon and Brazil faced off in the Round of 16 of the Under-20 Women’s World Cup. The match, which went into extra time, ended with a 3-1 victory for Brazil. The sanctions occurred following this match
In a statement, FIFA announced that external articles related to aggressive behavior, violations of fair play principles, and misconduct by players and officials had been violated
The now-legendary figure will not be able to support his team in the stadium during any match in Cameroon for six months, regardless of age or gender.
FIFA informed the player that the decision would be made swiftly and that Eto’o needed to exercise his right to appeal.
