Ghanaian young star Issahaku Fatawu congratulated his teammate, Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, after he won the Man of the Match award following Leicester City’s 3-1 victory over West Ham United.
Before the win, Leicester City was sitting in 17th place in the league and was experiencing a poor run of form. However, under the management of Ruud Van Nistelroy, they managed to secure all three points in his first game as coach.
In the match, Jamie Vardy put Leicester City 1-0 up in the second minute, followed by Bilal El Khannouss scoring the second goal for the team. Patson Daka netted the third goal for Leicester City, while West Ham could only respond through Niclas Fullkrug, with the game finishing 3-1.
Although Ndidi didn’t score, he impressed with his contributions in all areas of the game. He made 11 clearances, 3 interceptions, 8 tackles, 1 shot attempt, and 2 dribbles, showcasing his presence in both attacking and defensive phases.
